These Terms of Service (the "Terms") set forth the conditions for using Pico (the "App"). Any person who uses the App (the "User" or "you") agrees to these Terms before using the App.

  1. Scope These Terms apply to the App, features provided in connection with the App, including sync, notifications, widgets, Pico Pro, and related support provided by us. For the license to use the App distributed through the App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement or the applicable terms displayed on the App Store also apply.
  2. Service Description The App is a personal task management app for managing tasks, schedules, recurring tasks, notifications, alarms, widgets, and related items. We may change, add, suspend, or terminate all or part of the App as necessary for feature improvements, maintenance, security responses, legal compliance, or operational reasons.
  3. Accounts and Authentication You may use the App through Apple, Google, guest access, or other methods provided by us. You are responsible for properly managing your authentication information, devices, Apple ID, Google account, and related credentials. Except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence, we are not liable for damages arising from incomplete registration or authentication information, unauthorized use by third parties, lost devices, or similar events. If you use the account deletion feature, the App account and related data managed by us will be deleted. However, information necessary for legal compliance, fraud prevention, billing management, accounting, or security may be retained for the required period. Deleting your account, signing out, or uninstalling the App does not cancel your App Store subscription. You must manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings.
  4. Data Entered by Users Rights to task names, schedules, notes, notification settings, and other information you enter into the App ("User Data") remain with you or the applicable rights holder. You represent that you have the necessary rights to your User Data and that your User Data does not violate laws or third-party rights. We handle User Data to the extent necessary to provide the App, sync and back up data, send notifications, provide support, investigate defects, maintain security, analyze usage, and improve the service. You must not enter highly confidential information, third-party personal information, illegal content, or harmful content beyond the intended purpose of the App.
  5. Notifications, Alarms, and Widgets The display and updating of notifications, alarms, badges, and widgets may be affected by the operating system, device status, network conditions, low power settings, permission settings, Apple specifications, and other technical conditions. The App is not intended for uses where failure or delay could cause serious harm, including uses directly related to life, body, or property safety, medical care, disaster response, or strict business-critical time management.
  6. Pico Pro and App Store Purchases Pico Pro is a paid feature offered within the App. The available features, price, term, availability of any free trial, and renewal conditions are as displayed on the purchase screen or on the App Store. Purchases of digital features are made through App Store in-app purchase, and charges are billed to your Apple ID. Auto-renewable subscriptions automatically renew until canceled through your Apple ID subscription settings. After cancellation, you may continue to use the subscription until the end of the period already paid for. Purchase confirmation, cancellation, plan changes, refunds, and other billing management are handled according to Apple's procedures. We cannot directly modify payments, refunds, or billing information managed by Apple. If you need to restore your purchase status after changing devices, reinstalling the App, signing out, or similar events, use the restore purchases feature in the App or the App Store subscription management settings.
  7. Prohibited Conduct When using the App, you must not engage in any of the following conduct: Conduct that violates laws, public order and morals, these Terms, App Store terms, or third-party rights. Unauthorized access, authentication bypass, vulnerability probing, excessive load, scraping, reverse engineering, or other conduct that harms the security of the App or related systems. Circumventing or modifying paid features, usage restrictions, billing, authentication, or security features. Impersonating a third party, entering false information, or using another person's account or device without permission. Entering, storing, or transmitting illegal, harmful, discriminatory, rights-infringing, malware-related, spam-related, or otherwise inappropriate content. Conduct that interferes with the operation, maintenance, security, or use of the App by other users.
  8. Suspension and Other Measures If you violate these Terms, or if there is unauthorized use, a security risk, a legal violation, a billing issue, or another operational need related to the App, we may, without prior notice, restrict features, delete data, suspend or delete accounts, suspend support, or take other necessary measures.
  9. Intellectual Property Rights All intellectual property rights related to the App, screens, designs, logos, programs, documents, and other App-related materials belong to us or the applicable rights holders. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the App in accordance with these Terms and do not transfer any intellectual property rights to you. We may use suggestions, requests, feedback, and similar input you provide to us free of charge for improving, developing, and operating the App.
  10. Third-Party Services The App may integrate with services or features provided by third parties, including the App Store, Apple ID, Sign in with Apple, Google authentication, Supabase, RevenueCat, mail apps, and operating system notification features. The terms of service, privacy policies, and technical limitations of each third-party service apply to those services.
  11. Privacy Our handling of personal information and related data is governed by the App's Privacy Policy. Please review the Privacy Policy before using the App.
  12. Disclaimer of Warranties We do not warrant that the App will meet your specific purposes, or that it will always be accurate, complete, secure, up to date, or free from errors, failures, data loss, notification delays, or compatibility issues. You are responsible for separately recording, verifying, and backing up important information as necessary.
  13. Limitation of Liability Except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence, we are not liable for damages incurred by you arising from the use of, or inability to use, the App. If liability cannot be fully or partially excluded under the Consumer Contract Act or other mandatory laws, our liability is limited to the extent permitted by those laws.
  14. Changes to These Terms We may change these Terms as necessary. If we make material changes, we will notify users by an appropriate method, such as in the App, on a web page, on the App Store, or by other means. If you use the App after the changes, you are deemed to have agreed to the revised Terms.
  15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Unless otherwise required by law, the Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance over disputes arising in connection with the App or these Terms. However, these Terms do not limit rights granted to users under applicable consumer protection laws or other mandatory laws.
